大神的英语学习方法

1、听录音

初中时要求，每篇课文要听三十遍。我不知道别人有没有坚持下来，我反正照做了：每天晚上捧着随身听来听，虽然不能说每遍都精神高度集中，但那么多小时听下来，对语感是一个很大的提高。当然，录音质量一定要高，最好是英语是母语的人用正常速度录制的，那种哗众取宠的“洋话连篇”之类就像魔咒，听得越多坏处越大。

2、抄句型

我学3L时(look, listen and

learn)，老师上课要大家口头轮流造句，下课还要付诸笔头，造一页纸、大约十来句。我的句型就是这样学来的，一点秘诀都没有。当然，抄的时候不能“有手无心”，当时抄错是要重罚的。

3、默读

平时做题、温书总是喜欢读出声来。时间一长竟有了意想不到的收获：语感比同龄人好了许多，应该得益于此。用功，再加上点巧劲，进步会更快。

我没觉得从头再学一遍字母、发音是浪费时间。基础越扎实，日后才能学得越快。整整一年，从ABC到鲁滨逊的故事，书上留下了我详细的笔记，课后习题的答案也密密麻麻地写在了留白处，到现在都是我不轻易示人的珍藏。

如何练习听力?

听力是检验英语基本功的重要标尺：词汇量不大、语法不扎实、语感不强、背景知识不够，都会影响到听。我提供两个练习思路。

1、听写

在北外前两年每周都要考听写：一篇短文，慢速听两遍要求全记下来，

包括标点符号也要根据语法知识补上，这样理解、拼写都考到了，一举两得。难一点的是五分钟常速新闻，不管听多少遍，只要一小时整理出一篇播音员可以照着念的文字稿，要求一字不差。

2、泛听

广播除BBC、VOA外，CRI也可以听;电视有BBC、CNN、CCTV-9。开始可以捡感兴趣的听，以理解为目的，听时不妨随手写下好的和陌生的表达法，供事后记忆或查证。听前不要看文字稿，否则效果会打折扣。

如何练习口语

进入北外学习英语专业后，从与他人的横向比较中，我发现了自己的优势：笔头比较强，基本功扎实。但口语差、不爱表达是我的两大弱点。痛定思痛，我决定改弦更张。

1、恶补语音

每周两次、每次两小时在小花园里一个人苦练：一年后果然见成效，开始陆续有人夸我语音好了。

大二时，系里专门办了语音班。中国教授负责讲理论、演示英音，另请了位美国诗人演示美音。两人演示一丝不苟，带我们一个一个音标地过。每个人都要过关，课下每句话还要念五十遍，务求和课上的演示分毫不差。这是天底下最“笨”的办法，却在短短一学期后却取得了令人难以置信的效果，点滴积累终于引发了质的改变。

2、言之有物

讲话时不再满足于想象中的“地道”，而是力求清楚;要求自己说话不追求所谓的“流利”，而要言之有物。

再有就是尽量创造“用”——而不仅仅是“说”——英语的环境。我们常见比赛选手在台上滔滔不绝，其实只消把他们的话翻成中文，就可见其内容的贫乏、逻辑的勉强。这里面固然有英语表达能力有限的问题，但是不是也因为说中文时是“说话”，而一到英语就当是“表演”的缘故呢?真实环境下的英语对话——真正用英语说清楚一件事、讲明白一个观点——可以避免这一点，做到语言与时俱进、内容求真务实。

如何练习写作

英文写作有几个误区：喜欢用大词，用很“拽”的句式，追求形式(对仗、押韵)，而忽略内容(有没有内容，有没有逻辑?)。再就是写作课过时的教法：按叙述、描写、论辩，因果、比较、时序分类教，以及GRE、TOEFL、四六级考试评分标准造成的“新八股”。

如何摆脱这些误区?

1、要多看

看各种类型的文章：小说、散文、新闻、信牍、社评、论文。

2、要多想

要多想，想作者这样写有什么道理?换种表达，效果会不会打折扣?慢慢培养出对文章的辨识力。还要注意不迷信大家、古人，要以有效交流为检验好文章的唯一标准。

3、要多写

要多写，哪怕是为写而写。读书笔记、日记、邮件——甚至情书——都可以尝试。

写的时候目的要明确。写好之后过段时间再看，按英文逻辑通读几遍，删去可有可无的字句、没有意义的大话、莫名其妙的比喻。不妨读出声来，看拗不拗口、顺不顺畅;可以读给没看过文章的人听，看好不好懂。

如何练习阅读

不妨多读读Longman、Oxford的学生词典，只靠两千常用字就解释清楚几乎所有的英文词，是何种功夫!

刚上大学时，老师总是讲名著简写本要读满二十本。这样做，效果不会立竿见影，但我以亲身经历担保，这绝对是好办法。读时不要选择生词多的，老查字典会影响情绪;找那些生词少或不影响理解的，一口气读下来，收获就在不经意的顺畅阅读中。

大量阅读固然可以扩大词汇量，但这里的目的是理解和培养语感，不要“心有旁骛”，以致减损阅读本身给我们的快感。

除了名著简写本，语言简易的原版小说也是不错的选择，像The Adventures

ofSherlock Holmes、Love Story、The Bridges of the Madison

County等。

精读也少不了。只是有一点：现在一般教材都喜欢选所谓的“时文”。学鲜活的、用得着的英语，作为一条原则我不反对。而且少数报纸、杂志的文章或充满洞见或嬉笑怒骂，确实值得读，如美国的The

New Yorker，又如我的最爱、英国的The

Economist。但“时髦”的另一面是未经时间检验，作学语言的范本未必合适。

从小到大用过十数种字典，这里向大家推荐几本。

先说案头字典，若要例句多，不妨选Collins或剑桥系列;若要释义精，莫过The Concise

OxfordDictionary。大一点的有上海译文的《英汉大词典》及其补编和商务的《新时代汉英大词典》。

字典要多查，不能苛求每人都像一位师兄讲的那样，“把字典当作枕边书，睡前必读”，但至少要抵制住电子词典的诱惑，以免欲速不达。

要求听辨的单词大多是听起相似或只有长短音的区别。在平时训练中，教师应对此进行比较，找出差异的规律，让学生在平时的训练中有意识地运用这些差异的规律。

(2)听选答语

让学生就所听到的句子、对话回答问题。在听材料前，首先要让学生熟悉一下所听材料内容，做到心中有数;听读前要听清关键词，特殊疑问词是学生要听的关键词。如what，why，who，whose，where，which，how等。听选答语是培养学生语句理解能力，以及对语句表层意义深层涵义的理解，听懂对话的言外之意或间接的转述。

(3)听读默写

听写是训练听力的好方式，早期阶段鼓励学生要在要在写之前尽兴口头复述，即“听、说、写”三结合的方式，以锻炼学生的记忆力，听写的内容可以是单词、句子或短文填空等，千万不可因其中有不会写的单词而隔断以后的内容，要做到当机立断，要随着录音的播放而进行，中间不存在思维中断。

(4)短文理解

短文理解是在听完一段录音材料后，根据短文的内容判断正误，或根据短文内容选择正确答案。无论是哪一类的练习，首先都要理解短文的内容，甚至在理解的基础上加以分析、推理，从而得出正确答案。为了培养学生的概括能力，可采取听后概述，强化识记。教师在进行课文教学时，可以先让学生听课文录音，然后让他们复述课文主要内容。复述时可以先写关键词或借助辅助手段，如挂图、投影、手势等，以强化效果，降低难度。
