Beijing is our capital city which is famous for its long history. Now we have a one-day tour plan for you.
In the morning, you can start the day at the Great Wall. It's one of the greatest wonders in the world. It's so magnificent that you can't go to Beijing without visiting the Great Wall. At noon, you can go to the Summer Palace. There are so many interesting sites, such as Wanshou Mountain, Kunming Lake, Suzhou Street, and some other ancient palaces. So you can climb Wanshou Mountain first. The view on the top is so wonderful. Next, you can go boating on Kunming Lake, and then, walk on Suzhou Street to enjoy the life of regions south of the Yangtze River. In the afternoon, you can go to have a long walk on Tiananman Square, in order to see the city well, and then you can visit the Palace Museum. There you can see different objects of different periods. They are of great value. In the evening, the Front Gate Walking Street is a good place to go where you can buy various kinds of souvenirs and clothes. Most buildings there have the traditional Chinese styles. Maybe you can know some history of ancient Beijing.

This is the palace museum; also know as the Purple Forbidden City. It is the largest and most well reserved imperial residence in China today. Under Ming Emperor Yongle, construction began in 1406. It took 14years to build the Forbidden City. The first ruler who actually lived here was Ming Emperor Zhudi. For five centuries thereafter, it continued to be the residence of23 successive emperors until 1911 when Qing Emperor Puyi was forced to abdicate the throne. In 1987, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization recognized the Forbidden City was a world cultural legacy.
It is believed that the Palace Museum, or Zi Jin Cheng (Purple Forbidden City), got its name from astronomy folklore, The ancient astronomers divided the constellations into groups and centered them around the Ziwei Yuan (North Star) . The constellation containing the North Star was called the Constellation of Heavenly God and star itself was called the purple palace. Because the emperor was supposedly the son of the heavenly gods, his central and dominant position would be further highlighted the use of the word purple in the name of his residence. In folklore, the term “an eastern purple cloud is drifting” became a metaphor for auspicious events after a purple cloud was seen drifting eastward immediately before the arrival of an ancient philosopher, LaoZi, to the Hanghu Pass. Here, purple is associated with auspicious developments. The word jin (forbidden) is self-explanatory as the imperial palace was heavily guarded and off-explanatory as the imperial palace was heavily guarded and off-limits to ordinary people.
The red and yellow used on the palace walls and roofs are also symbolic. Red represents happiness, good fortune and wealth. Yellow is the color of the earth on the Loess Plateau, the original home of the Chinese people. There are four entrances into the city: the Meridian Gate to the south, the Shenwu Gate (Gate of Military Prowess) to the north, and the Xihua Gate (Gate of military Prowess) to the north, and the Xihua Gate (Western Flowery Gate ) to the west, the Donghua (Eastern Flowery Gate) to the east.
Manpower and materials throughout the country were used to build the Forbidden City. A total of 230,000 artisans and one million laborers were employed. Marble was quarried from fangshan Country Mount Pan in Jixian County in Hebei Province. Granite was quarried in Quyang County in Hebei Province. Paving blocks were fired in kilns in Suzhou in southern China. Bricks and scarlet pigmentation used on the palatial walls came from linqing in Shandong Province. Timber was cut, processed and hauled from the northwestern and southern regions.

离开了知春亭，没走几步，这就到了昆明湖。偌大的湖面小平如镜，丝毫没有一丝波澜。微风徐过，湖面上顿时泛起鱼鳞一样的波纹。站在高处瞭望，湖着实像个大蟠桃。加上远处那或绿或红或黄的映衬，坐落于其中的昆明湖真如一个如百里长的屏风，令人心旌荡漾。昆明湖，博大又优雅。
走了许久，一个长廊映入眼帘。如此之长，叫人赞叹不已，据说，这可是被列入了世界吉尼斯纪录的世界上最长的长廊。我迫不及待地观赏着，忽地发现游廊上方都有着精美的壁画。有画动物的，那儿就有一幅猛虎图，虎虎生威，声声震林，让人不觉望而生畏，可谓是惟妙惟肖，栩栩如生哪!有画历史故事的，上方便有一幅张飞夜战马超，刀光剑影，人声马嘶，溅起一地尘土。两旁的士兵高举灯火，喊得排山倒海。徜徉于此，好比进入了个如梦如幻的世界，流连忘返。长廊，宏大又悠长。
总算是到了尽头，我抬眼一望，这就到了最后一个景点——佛香阁的入口。上了有数百级的楼梯，总算到了颐和园的最高处，纵览全局，真有一种“一览众山小”的滋味。回首看看佛香阁，赤朱丹彤，华贵富丽，傲立于众山之中，脱俗又不乏宏伟。佛香阁，华美又不凡。
游完了颐和园，那儿的每一景，每一隅，都深深地烙刻在脑海里，真叫人难以忘却!

故宫位于北京市中心，旧称紫禁城。于明代永乐十八年建成，是明、清两代的皇宫，无与伦比的古代建筑杰作，世界现存最大、最完整的木质结构的古建筑群。故宫全部建筑由“前朝”与“内廷”两部分组成，四周有城墙围绕。四面由筒子河环抱。
故宫有四个门，正门名为午门。午门有五个洞。其平面为凹形，宏伟壮丽。午门后有五座精巧的汉白玉拱桥通往太和门。东门名东华门，西门名西华门，北门名神武门。故宫计划原有9999。5座房，后仅建8732座。
第一座门是午门，午门是皇帝下诏书、下令出征的地方。每遇宣读皇帝圣旨，文武百官都要齐集午门前广场听旨。

之后，我们来到了乾清宫，宫匾上写着“正大光明”四个大字，为甚要写这四个字呢？明朝历法中，乾清宫有27个龙床，而万历皇帝在此与27个宫女，而宫女门不堪忍受，便准备在万历皇帝熟睡时谋杀他，而行刺的计划失败了，27个宫女被处以凌迟极刑，所谓凌迟，乃千刀万剐之意，男性3600刀，女性3602刀，多出的2刀指割眼皮，残忍至极。所以，为使后来的皇帝光明正大，才书写了这四个字。

8月14日，我很早就起床了，因为今天妈妈和奶奶要带我去祖国的首都——北京。
一早，我就怀着激动的心情等待着旅行社的车来接我们去合肥火车站，8点时，司机准时到达我家楼下，或许是因为心情很好的原因，道路都通畅了，十分钟我们就到达了目的地。
在候车厅等待的时间，妈妈给我拍了很多帅气的照片。时间飞快的过去了，猛然听见广播在播放：“乘坐G266列车的乘客可以进站检票了。”我们顺利的进站并找到了座位，在经历了4个多小时漫长的旅程，终于到达了目的地——北京。
第二天一早，导游带领着我们去了全世界第一大的城市广场——天安门广场观看升旗仪式，一路上导游给我们介绍了北京的历史、文化、特产（皇城文化、胡同文化）……
稍作休息，我们来到了世界上保存最完整、规模最大的木质结构建筑群—故宫，一路游览从午门到神武门，太和殿到乾清宫，看到了美轮美奂、金碧辉煌的殿宇，精致美丽的御花园。吃完午饭后，我们来到了元明清三朝的最高学府——孔庙国子监，在那里了解了古代的科举制度、感受了曾经的“书生”们的理想情怀。之后马不停蹄的赶到了奥林匹克公园，看到了结构新颖、独特，具有很强震撼力和视觉冲击力的鸟巢和水立方。
第三天凌晨出发去了我期待已久、世界文化遗产——万里长城，登上长城的烽火台极目远眺，山峦起伏、绵延不绝，非常雄伟、壮丽。“不到长城非好汉”，经过了一个多小时的努力，我也做了一回好汉，在好汉石旁，感受了毛主席当年指点江山的气魄。
游览了明十三陵中的定陵后，我们欣赏了一场由世界冠军组成的表演团队以及北京奥运会的制作团队联袂打造的精彩杂技演出。之后我们去了国内著名的学府清华大学，感受了浓厚的教育氛围，在那里我立志一定要能成为其中一份子。
这就是我暑期快乐的首都文化之旅，是不是很丰富多彩呢？
当然，我也认真积极的完成了暑假作业，预习和复习了功课，除了暑期的补习班和适当的锻炼，也阅读了大量的书籍，并帮助家长做了一些力所能及的家务。
新的学期已经来临，希望我可以好好学习，天天向上。向着目标更近一步！
篇27：北京旅游作文
星期六的晚上，学完小提琴，爸爸去接我回家的路上，爸爸在超市买了很多东西，当时，我以为去姥姥家呢！没想到，回到家，妈妈说；“先迷糊一会吧，十二点半我们去北京。”我一听，高兴的跳了起来说；“真的吗？”妈妈点了点头， “ 耶！耶！耶！······”随后，我上了床，心 里却高兴的不得了，老是睡不着，不知待了多长时间终于睡着了。12点的时候，妈妈把我叫起来，我懵懵懂懂地便去了车站，在车站等了一会，检完票之后，我飞快地跑到火车上，找了个位子坐了下来。火车终于开了，我又睡着了。
当我醒来的时候也已经到北京了，我迫不及待地跑下火车，出了车站，我们直接坐了去天安门的车，到了天安门，广场上早已人山人海，都是来看升旗仪式的，我们好不容易才挤到前面。升旗仪式开始了，只见威武的仪仗队迈着整齐的步伐走了出来，侧着看就像一个人，真是整齐极了，在庄严的国歌声中，五星红旗冉冉升起。短短几分钟，国旗升完了。我们又坐了919公交车到了长城，长城可真雄伟呀!高大的城墙耸立在眼前，往远一望，好像一条巨龙。真壮观呀!由于时间关系，我们没有爬，却坐了缆车上去的，不一会，就到了了长城顶上，从长城顶上往下望，你会感到很自豪，很有成就感。爬完了长城又去了博物馆，里面还有孟姜女哭倒长城的故事。很快，我们就回到了鼓楼宾馆。
早晨，天刚蒙蒙亮我就兴致勃勃的起了床，简单的洗刷后，爸妈就带我来到小吃街品尝了最有名的小吃，炒肝等，妈妈还买了烤鸭呢，在我的建议下我和爸妈又来到在电视上经常看到的鸟巢，和水立方，远望鸟巢就像个马蹄，错杂交错的支架很难想像怎么能承载那么大的重量，我这是第一次走进鸟巢，进入鸟巢我傻眼了，最大感受是震撼，鸟巢的建造真是太伟大了，不规则结构，无比宽阔的环形赛场，‘碗’状座椅环抱着赛场，上下层之间错落有致，观众无论在哪一层都视也开阔，身临其中真是感受到设计家，以及建设家的伟大啊！还有水立方，当然，由于时间关系，我们没有进去，只是在外面看了看，和鸟巢对比是一圆一方，形成鲜明的对比，水立方看上去很有立体感，尤其是那蓝色的颜色那么好看，我只好让妈妈给我照了几张相留念，还买了很多纪念品······
这次旅游，真是又大开眼界又高兴呀！

暑假期间我和爸爸妈妈到北京旅游的第一天，在这一天里，我游览了奥运建筑——鸟巢和水立方，还登上祖先留下来的宏伟建筑——长城，真让我受益匪浅！
天还没亮，我就被爸爸从梦中叫醒，匆匆忙忙的刷牙洗脸，迷迷糊糊的上了旅游车，开始一天的旅游。在车上，我还有着朦胧的睡意，不时打哈欠，因此，我还没有想吃早餐，但是为了有精力旅游，我还是强迫自己把旅馆准备的早餐吃完。
到了六点多钟，旅游车就带我们到了国家体育场，可是没到开门时间，我只好耐心等待，过了一会儿，管理人员把门打开，我带着激动的心情，连蹦带跳的走进体育场，去游览鸟巢和水立方这两个奥运建筑，当我看到鸟巢和水立方时，一下子就惊呆了！鸟巢这世界上独一无二，用钢量达4.2万吨，观众坐席约91000个的庞大钢结构建筑；还有那泳池用水80%是从屋顶收集雨水并循环使用，整个建筑60%的电能是利用建筑体本身的太阳能提供电力，高科技、低碳、节能环保的水立方，这样伟大的建筑难道能不让我惊呆吗？
下午，我们坐着旅游车到了祖先留下的宏伟建筑——长城的八达岭长城段。准备攀登长城，此时，我内心异常激动，心里情不自禁的想：我就要登长城当好汉了！过了一会儿，我坐滑车来到八达岭长城第四个烽火台，接着，我便迫不及待地登长城，经过半小时的攀登，我终于登上了八达岭长城段的顶峰——北八城，在这里，八达岭长城脚下的景色被我尽收眼底。我们祖先建造的世界上最具有防御力，造型独一无二，长达十点八万公里的城墙，使我感到祖先的伟大，对祖先充满了无限的敬佩之情！
下午六点钟，我们坐着旅游车又回到旅馆，一天欢乐的旅游结束了。通过一天的旅游，使我看到现代建筑的节能、环保和宏伟，看到了祖国的伟大；还看到我国古代建筑的宏伟气势，对祖先建筑长城的智慧充满敬佩。祖国的伟大、祖先的智慧将给我学习的动力，在今后学习中我会好好学习，掌握更多的知识，成为一名为祖国建设的有用之才，把祖国建设得更加辉煌，更加强大！
