同学们，今天是5月4日，是你们的节日,也是青春的节日。有人说，青春是一首歌，回荡着欢快、美妙的旋律；有人说，青春是一幅画，镌刻着瑰丽、浪漫的色彩。
1919年的5月4日，为了驱逐黑暗、争取光明，为了祖国的独立和富强，一群意气风发的青年用热血和生命谱写了一曲最壮丽的青春之歌，绘就了一幅最宏伟的青春图画。如今，“五四”运动已作为光辉的一页载入了中华民族的史册。然而，“五四运动”绝不仅仅是一个历史事件，它更是一种精神，一种伟大的“五四运动”的精神。在这种精神里，有着青年人关注国家命运的责任和使命，有着青年人振兴民族大业的赤胆与忠心。
今天，我们的祖国已经进入了一个新的历史时期，振兴中华的责任，已落在我们青年人的肩上，“五四”的火炬，已传到了我们青年人的手中。“五四”的精神，需要我们青年人发扬光大。可是要弘扬“五四”精神，就必须思考一个问题。我们应该拥有一个怎样的青春？怎样的人生？是在浑浑噩噩中度过，还是在拼搏中进取？“五四运动”告诉我们，青年人要有正义感、更要有责任感；“五四精神”昭示我们，青年人要有爱国心，更要有进取心。我们的青春应该是飞扬的，我们的人生应该是激情的。因此，弘扬“五四精神”不应只停留在口号上，更要体现在实际行动上：在生活中，要注意行为规范，着装得体，展示青年人朝气蓬勃的精神风貌；在学习上，刻苦钻研，勇于拼搏，彰显青年人“舍我其谁”的豪情壮志。高中时代，是我们人生中的一个重要的里程碑。我们知道，风雨会使我们变得强壮，挫折会使我们变得坚强。成熟的思想和高尚的品质，来自于风雨的洗礼和生活的磨砺，我们要面对山峰，去欣赏它的风光，面对未来去争创人生的辉煌，这样才能体现生命的价值。一个有价值的人生应该是：无怨无悔的昨天，丰硕盈实的今天，充满希望的明天。
我们作为新时代的新青年，应该要具有什么条件呢？
首先要有点理想。我不想说大话而谈理想，而我们应该实实在在想想自己，想想自己是为了什么而生存，让我们知道今天是怎样度过的，要懂得明天该做些什么。
其次，要有点本领。我们来学校学习就是为了锻炼本领、完善自我。每个人的性格、爱好、特长都不一样。在学校每个人的潜能都得以发挥，专长得以充实，都想方设法找到自己的闪光点；当走出校园时，凭靠本领就足以开辟一个美好的未来。
第三，要拥有一个健康的体魄。只有身体健康才能更好地去学习，去工作，所以我们要德、智、体全面发展，要积极去参加体育锻炼，使我们的身体更强壮，身心更健康，学习得更愉快。
第四，还要有一个健康的心态。要宽容、豁达，要理解、接纳，不要抱怨世道不公，不要怨天尤人，每天要扪心自问：我努力了没有，我付出了没有？
同学们，青春不是用来炫耀的，青春不是用来陶醉的，青春也不是用来享受的。青春是人生之花，青春之花又是短暂的。高三的全体同学们，你们绝大多数已年满18岁，在剩下的30来天的宝贵时间里，正是你们青春之花待放之时，让我们拿出行动来，不为别人，为你自己――用激情，唱响人生最壮美的青春之歌；用青春，绘就人生最瑰丽的生命画卷！充实的人生，因为奋斗而更加美好；闪亮的人生，因为拼搏而更加绚丽！
记住：不要让青春撞了腰！要让青春燃烧！
