外公一吃完晚饭，立即奔回房间，关上房门，赶忙打开电视看起来，一直到很晚很晚，有时打了十几个哈欠才不情愿地关掉电视。有一次，中国和阿联酋的足球比赛快11时才开始，爸爸、妈妈、外婆和我都睡着了，外公没入睡，却悄悄地打开电视机，全神贯注地盯着电视机。中国队突破了阿联酋的防守，向对方球门冲去，外公喊一声“好，继续冲”，我被惊醒了，在隔壁偷听。中国队的球员大力抽射，很遗憾，被对方守门员扑掉了。外公说：“怎么这球没进？”。过了一会儿，中国球员祁红头球攻门进了，外公高兴得大叫：“好球！”，一拍床，外婆吓了一跳，被弄醒了，问：“谁？谁？”，当她发现是外公喊的，就气呼呼地说：“你这老头子，吵什么吵？深更半夜不睡觉，象个傻子。”外公一边目不转睛地看电视，一边说：“这球赛这么精彩不看才是傻子。”“我看你真是个体育迷了”，外婆无可奈何地又睡了。
