今年是猪年，我家要在外婆家过新年。过年前我们一家人特别忙，又是打扫房间，又是上街买东西，又是贴春联，又是杀鸡杀鸭，做年糕做豆腐等等。
在除夕的前几天，我和妹妹在家里一起练书法，准备写春联，外公买来了红纸，可惜红纸是一大张一大张的，只得我们自己裁纸。外公量好了尺寸，说这春联的宽至少得28厘米，因为是贴在大门上的。我和妹妹一边画，一边量尺寸，一边裁，一边折格子。左弄右弄，折腾了将近两个小时。这纸是红色的，特别容易掉色，我们忙活完了，才发现身上的衣服，袖套和手上全部变成红色的了。
我在网上找了一副春联，拿起毛笔就开始写。字要写得比较大，墨水比较多。写完第一个字，过了好几分钟，这上面的墨才完全干。第二次也是如此，但是我还没等它完全干，就竖着拿起来，看一看有没有对正，字是不是写小了。我刚准备欣赏，这个字中一个笔画上的墨往下流了下来。我吃了一惊，赶紧把这张纸平放在桌子上，抽了几张餐巾纸，赶紧把墨吸干。可是已经来不及了，墨已经流下面的字，拖了很长一条线。这幅春联算是毁了，又得重新裁一张纸。我们俩只好不厌其烦的，又重新裁了一张纸。
这次我写得时候非常认真，每写完一个字就拿餐巾纸，把字上面的墨吸干，但是这样做的话，速度非常慢，没有办法，为了保证墨不再流下来，只能这样做。我写了大概一个多小时，终于把春联写完了。晚上外公和我们一起把春联贴在大门上，我们的春联是自己写的，显得非常独特。自从我学会书法，家里的春联不用愁，自己写即可，既省钱，又可以练练手。
写完书法，我们帮外婆做豆腐、炸豆腐，可有意思了。每年过春节前，得准备不少东西，虽然比较忙，但一大家人能在一起过春节很开心。
