一、定方向，重积累
所谓的定方向，是指对大纲进行深入透析，虽然参加考试的是“岁岁年年人不同”，但大纲却是“年年岁岁花相似”。因为国家统一考试要保持一定的连贯性，因此，大纲的变化只能是循序渐进的，一般情况下大纲不会是上一年大纲内容的根本性颠覆，只是内容上略有增减。因此刚开始对最近年份大纲的把握，可以把复习这引进基本框架中。
《全国硕士研究生入学统一考试(英语)考试大纲》对于B节短文写作的规定如下：要求考生根据提示信息写出一篇160-200词的短文(标点符号不计算在内)。提示信息的形式有主题句、写作提纲、规定情景、图、表等。考生在答题卡2上作答。总分20分。
在写作时，大纲要求考生能够写一般描述性、叙述性、说明性或议论性的文章。写作时，考生能够：
1)做到语法、拼写、标点正确， 用词恰当;
2)遵循文章的特定文体格式;
3)合理组织文章结构，使其内容统一、连贯;
4)根据写作目的和特定读者，恰当选用语域。
看过大纲之后，我们明白，写作考试要在40分钟内要我们在200字左右篇幅内考查学生以下基本语言技能：描述、叙述、说明、和评论。因此，我们就要平时去锻炼这些技能。
语言学理论告诉我们，因为作文是一项输出(output)工作，根据语言学理论，输出是一项高级的语言活动，它建立在大量的输入(input)的基础之上。输入的缺乏必然导致输出的力不从心。我这里的重积累，指得不仅是词汇、句法、语篇等语言本身的积累，还包括思维方式、思想、以及事例的积累。综合历年题目(见表一)，图画作文已经成为主流。而且大多涉及为公众所熟悉的社会话题。因此，我们要积累的第一步就是图画到社会话题之间的思维提炼。英文原版报纸和网站的、以及国内权威英文网站上的评论文章，都可能成为我们积累的素材。在这个过程中，我们还要注意，英文行文特点和汉语行文特点的区别。但是，要提到的是这种积累并不是泛泛阅读能够实现的，需要我们有意识的选那些和考试风格接近的文章精确分析和记忆，而其中的词汇和句式，我们都可以拿出来，记忆并且应用。
二、常下手、要批改
这里我所谓的常下手，是因为很多同学复习过程中注重积累而忽视真正动手演习，
同样还是因为写作是输出活动，它要求我们呈现给考官的不是一个结果而是一个过程，仅仅看到知道并理解是不够的，还要会运用那些词汇、句法表达我们要表达的思想，并且在我们的万千头绪种，用它们构成一个符合逻辑的结构。这仅仅靠记忆和积累是不够的。需要大量的练习。因此，我们要经常时不时拿出一幅图或者就某一现象练手，真正落实到纸面上。
另外，文章是写了，写完弃置一旁是不正确的选择。应该找老师或者自己进行修改。在自己作品的审视以及和自己阅读过的文章对比之下，我们会发现自己的不足，并且能够找到那些词汇和句式我们认为已经掌握，但是不能够准确地运用的。这样的反复积累才是有意义的。
三、投其好、战不败
本篇中提到的投其好，很明显是投阅卷老师之所好。因此，我们首先要知道阅卷老师会从哪些方面来评判我们的文章。大纲中的评分标准(表二)这时起到很关键的作用。可以看出，评判标准主要需要考生做到以下几点：
1.把题目要求中的描述、说明、以及评论、例证等任务都完成。
2.尽量使用比较丰富的句式和词汇。
3.适当使用连词和副词使文章连贯。
4.避免语法错误。
另外，充分掌握考官的阅读和评分心理也是我们制胜的一大法宝。阅卷考官通常需要在连续几天的时间里要面对成千上万份水平参差不起的英语作文，每天以超过8小时工作量阅读，每篇文章必须在1-3分钟之内作出评判，这是何等艰苦的工作!
首先，一般来说，卷面整洁、语法错误少会给让你的文章给考官留下很好的印象。不要小看这个印象分，同样的是13-16分档文章，印象分的浮动范围可以达到4分之多。可见书写、卷面以及语法等技能也是我们需要下功夫的技能。而且，这些技能都不能突击。只有日积月累才会有大的提高。
其次，文章的首部，也就是第一段也是考官最先看到的部分，这一部分将决定考官对你的第一评价。阅卷考官通常是在阅读完第一段之后就开始将文章的分数档归类。因此如果第一段写得好，考官在潜意识中预期后面两段应该保持与第一段相近的水准，即使考生犯了一些小错误，也是高档次的低分而不至于被打到低分数档中。
再次，文章的连贯性。在第一印象之后，考官会迅速浏览你的文章，寻找那些符合评分标准高分要求的要素。如果你的文章行文发展思路清晰、论证充分、论据充足，自然又大大减轻了考官的工作量，使得考官能够很快掌握你的作文水平。主要的段落，如二、三段都需要有较强的`层次感，使人可以快速地抓住作者的思路，同时表现出作者的逻辑感和分析表达事物的能力。英文作文的行文脉络需要一系列结构的支撑，包括逻辑衔接词、过渡句、主题句和结论句等的使用，考官在时间紧急的情况下，很可能通过这些手段的有无来判断你的行文连贯性。
另外，闪光词组和词汇：由于大部分中国学生的词汇量都处于一般水平，而且在写作中能够运用自如的词汇更加少，所以当考生在文章中使用几个精彩的词汇和词组，不仅能够为文章增色不少，更是能够吸引考官的眼球，取得高分。

一般说来，每次考试后，我们这些阅卷老师要在很短的时间内评阅完大量的试卷，工作量非常大。尽管作文评分有具体的标准，但它仍然是主观性较大的部分，而且写作部分没有“半分”的评分标准，有时我们阅卷之时的一念之差，就可能令你失去宝贵的一分。因此，这里我觉得介绍一些我们这些阅卷老师阅卷时的心理，对考生是极为有用的。‘
把握高分作文三大核心要素
1.整洁的卷面和漂亮的书写
漂亮的书写令人赏心悦目，可使阅卷老师从疲惫不堪中解脱出来，给阅卷老师留下良好的第一印象。
就我而言，每次批改作业，如遇龙飞凤舞、字迹较为潦草者，均“押后处理”。说老实话，当改至后期，我便两眼发直，精神极度疲惫，于是也龙飞凤舞，草草给个分数，算是交差了。
2.字数要达到最低要求
因为研究生作文对字数要求要比四六级写作要求高，每篇小作文的字数在100字左右，大作文的字数必须达到160~200字左右，所以考生切记要在规定的范围内完成自己的工作。但是，有些考生在写作过程中总存在这样的想法：写的越长，阅卷老师的分数肯定会打得更高，其实未必。有时候，甚至会适得其反。试想，考生的文章是写长了，但是考生同时又将自己的弱点暴露得“一览无余”，那样，考生怎么可能得到高分呢？所以，考生应注意在写作中长度一定要适当。
3.结构完整，脉络清晰
研究生考试作文阅卷时间紧，且采用global scoring（整体评分）方法，因此阅卷老师不可能慢悠悠地欣赏你的大作。作文阅卷老师都是经验非常丰富的大学英语教师，他们要在数分钟内浏览完考生作文，给出评分意见。如何吸引阅卷老师的注意呢？我认为，一个完整框架是必不可少的，首先应让阅卷老师觉得你的文章是结构完整合理、符合要求的。换言之，即具备英语文章的基本要素：引言段、扩展段和结尾段。引言段中要包含thesis statement（中心句），扩展段的每段均应有topic sentence（主题句），结尾段应该是一个自然收尾的段落。中文讲究意合，而英语注意形合，要求句与句、段与段之间运用恰当的过渡词，把上下文有机地连接起来。因此，应适当运用关键词组、套句，以吸引阅卷老师的“眼球”。
考研写作的大作文要求用160~200词写出一篇高质量的议论文，其形式有图示、漫画、情景等专门类型。近几年来则集中体现为灵活多变、隐含寓意的图示/漫画作文和具有学术分析特点的图表作文。这要求
考生要精确设置构架，内容、例子紧扣主题，并且严谨地遣词造句。下面就以漫画作文与图表作文为例来讲解一下高分作文的创作模块。
一、审题构思

1?列出重要漫画细节词
以考题为例，图中是穿着时尚的三个儿子与一个女儿蛮横地各自守在一个“球门”前，而老父亲可怜地蜷坐在球场中心。审题时果断列出可能用到的词汇如：helpless father, footall field, kick out, fashinoable clothes, huddle up into a ball等. 没有这些词汇的罗列，第一自然段的描述过程将耗费很多时间。
2?把握漫画象征意义
漫画作文关键在于透过表面看实质，精确地点出其象征寓意，构思联想不到位会导致跑题或无话可说的尴尬局面。如20考题这个例子，要毫不犹豫地把漫画和所定主题挂钩联想，并要以小见大把握象征意义。漫画中三个儿子与一个女儿将老父亲当作足球踢来踢去，这深刻反映了一些儿女不赡养老人这一违背中华传统美德的陋习依然存在这样一个现实。
3?把握背景原因和提出建议
联想的过程要深入，作者写作时很容易想到尊老爱幼是我们中华民族的.传统美德（Chinese virtue），我们应该遵循这一传统；同时可联想到我们的生命与成长源于父母，我们应该尊敬他们。文章的收尾部分不妨提出两点建议：为了使年轻一代承担起孝敬老人的责任，一方面，我们必须唤醒年轻一代尊老的美德；另一方面，我们必须有完善的法律来维护老年人的权益。
篇23：考研英语攻关，三大创作模块激发高分作文
1?典型数据――对位描述
面对图表应当首先结合主题，观察图表数据变化，如果表格、柱形和曲线都比较复杂，则需先确定如最高点、最低点以及骤升骤降的时间变化范围等典型数据，在表格和坐标图中精确地纵横对立进行描述，想像如何使用 increase dramatically，go up steadily，decline sharply，remain on the decline，demonstrate a dramatic change这样的图表术语描述数据变化。
2?把握变化――原因阐释
想像这种变化和主题的必然联系，拓展思维确定出原因一、二、三来。如沙尘暴次数猛增反映出中国西部土壤沙漠化、森林砍伐现象严重和城市房地产开发毁坏绿地植被的多元因素等。
3?提出建议――预测趋势
针对第二段分析的原因提出合理建议，基本思路可遵循以下两点：政府完善法律法规推进现有局面；个人树立某种意识主动参与解决问题。最后展望一下人类解决问题后的美好明天。
二、下笔创作
1?丰富提纲内容
用汉语简单写出每段的三个方面，用简洁的词或符号代替即可。提纲具体化可以让自己沿着一个严谨的框架前行，避免天马行空、意识流主宰思维的危险。
2?每段定数创作
三段式作文开篇段落引起话题，评价现状或描述漫画、图表，尽量用3~4句完成任务，其中设置一个长句，使得第一段达到50个左右的单词。
中间拓展段是论述主题并展现实力的黄金段落，要阐明漫画、图表寓意并且深刻分析原因背景，点出几个方面，结构要有层次感，语言要有闪光点和深度，写出7~8句比较合理，总数控制在100词左右。
结论段不止下结论，还要提出2~3句解决问题的建议。并且设置一个漂亮的结束句，使用排比、强调、倒装、虚似句型体现句式多变，写出5~6句不算太多，总词数在60词左右。
3?开篇段落气势昂扬
由于考研阅卷往往在写作的第一段确定文章档次，最后一段往往被阅卷老师忽视，所以开篇的三句话要有爆发力，充分表现出考生自己的语言水平和写作实力。因此要把平时积累的优秀句型应用到第一段开篇。如：
The picture ironically shows that a pitiable old man in rags is being helplessly kicked off by his three sons and a daughter, who all wear decent clothes.
4?突出后续两段的段首句和层次感
英语议论文写作讲究拓展阐述部分有段首句和支持段首句的若干论据。分层次表达又要避免数词排列的机械感，讲究启承转合的多样化表达，因此二、三两段就有可以依据的优秀表达语段模型。如：

5?长短句搭配，每段构造1~2个长句
优秀文章应做到长短句搭配合理，行文流畅，难简结合，曲径通幽，平实中见功力。要试试在每段中设置出一个有特色的长句，如排比句、并列句、定语从句、状语从句等，使得文章流畅而不失难度。
6?特色的篇末结束句
文章的结尾不好，苍白平淡，则给人虎头蛇尾的感觉，很有可能因为一句话而减弱前面的文采印象，所以要有意识安排一个闪光句型或句式在结尾，让阅卷老师读到结尾时能眼晴一亮。如：

三、修改润色
写作完成后不要急于放松休息，必须进行诸如名词单复数、时态一致、拼写及用词等方面的检查。当然浏览检查不可能推翻全部内容，因为时间有限，也为了保持卷面整洁，修改工作要以纠正明显的语法拼写错误为主。为了避免用语单调重复，也可将若干机械平淡的语言替换掉，实现语言的丰富多变。

2014年的大作文从总体上来看不难，因为它考查到了现在的一个社会热点。而且从十年的考研真题来讲，2005年的大作文考查到的是赡养老人的问题，当年的图画是可怜的老父亲缩成了一只皮球，四个儿女守着四个球门，老人被儿女们踢来踢去。当年全国考生平均分10.88分，难度系数0.544，区分度为0.64764。当年的描述图画部分比较难表达，而今年图画描述部分相比起来就容易得多。下面我们就从写作的标准三段式来讲讲这三段我们应该怎么写。
第一段图画描述段的'写作内容主要是表述图画，需包括两点：三十年前是个什么样子，现在是什么样子。三十年前“我”还是个孩子，母亲大手拉小手陪伴着我成长;现在，母亲上年纪了，我快乐地陪伴在母亲的身旁。其实第一段还有两个需要注意的地方，一是题目要求是一幅图，大家在写作时尽量按照一幅图画去处理;二是图画下面的汉字“相携”比较难翻译，不过大家可以意译为陪伴。这两个地方不是大问题，因为它相对于作文要考查考生书面表达的要求来说是微不足道的。
