Good morning, My name is Fang Shuo. My topic is: I'm the spokesman of Jining.
Jining is the birthplace of Confucius, Mencius, Yan Hui, Zeng Shen and Zisi， With the Great Canal passing by; it's called the Holy Land in the East, and the kingdom of manners.
You could find the trace of the saint in the Confucius Temple, Confucian Family Residence and Confucian Cemetery. You could enjoy the peculiar rocks on the Yishan Mountian, the beautiful scenes in Quanlin of Sishui, the lotus flowers in the Weishan Lake, and the stories of the 108 heroes on the Liangshan Hill.

筒子鱼
筒子鱼是微山湖传统名吃之一。用去头刮鳞鲫鱼，片下鱼片，水氽后，卷成曲筒状烹之，因菜肴的形状得名。筒子鱼无刺无皮，肉质嫩美，百吃不腻。
干贝熘黄菜
干贝熘黄菜属清真菜。先将蛋黄打散，加入湿淀粉、绍酒、凉牛肉(鸡肉)汤搅匀。再将蒸好的干贝捞出控净水分。锅放火上，加入植物油，烧后将蛋黄慢慢下锅，不断搅动，熟时先盛部分于盘内，再放干贝搅拌均匀，淋上鸡油盛在上面即可。此菜色泽金黄，味鲜浓香。
干崩虾仁
干崩虾仁济宁传统风味菜。制作时，先将小虾淘洗干净，控净水分，挤出虾仁，蛋清糊抓匀，再将南荠丁、海参、水发蚕豆放开水一烫。匀放火上加油烧至五成热，下小虾仁，至外焦时出勺控油。内留油少许，用味精、精盐、牛肉(鸡肉)汤对成的汁调味，倒入虾仁、配料颠翻均匀，出锅即成。此菜色泽洁白，脆嫩淡爽，清香鲜美。
油爆鲫鱼卷
油爆鲫鱼卷将鲜活鲫鱼斩头去鳞，剖成两片，剔刺，从里面打上花刀，再把鱼片截成3公分宽、6公分长的块状，挂上蛋清糊，下热油锅，待鱼皮收缩，自然成卷时，立即捞出。泼上由白胡椒面、葱姜蒜末、黄瓜片、黑木耳勾成的汁芡即成。此菜外焦里嫩，干香鲜美。
漂汤鱼丸
漂汤鱼丸是微山湖传统名吃之一。一般的鱼丸子都沉入汤内，而微山岛的鱼丸子在汤中全部漂浮着，故名漂汤鱼丸。一鲜、二嫩、三软、四漂。
八宝圆鱼
八宝圆鱼是以微山湖甲鱼为原料改制创新的名菜。该菜具有形体完好、鱼汁红亮、肉嫩馅香、滋味浓郁等特点，有滋阴壮阳防癌益神之功效。

I am a third year master major in automation at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, P. R. China. With tremendous interest in Industrial Engineering, I am writing to apply for acceptance into your Ph.D. graduate program.
Education background
In 1995, I entered the Nanjing University of Science & Technology (NUST) -- widely considered one of the China’s best engineering schools. During the following undergraduate study, my academic records kept distinguished among the whole department. The Taoist motifs are quite simple but I think they are very charming. I love to go there during the winter after a big snowfall because it's at this time that it seems to be most mysterious. I choose this as the most beautiful because, to me, beauty is simplicity and natural design, and it also means it fits the environment it is in. I don't really like grand, elaborate temples. I prefer temples that seem powerful not because of their structures but because they are perfect for their simple beauty.

Many palaces and private gardens built in Ming and Qing are reserved today, which are more magnificent and stately than that of the Song Dynasty.
