We do know that learning is error-driven—probably as a result of the brain trying to be efficient. Failures grab our attention. So many things happen the way we expect them to that mistakes register disproportionately. We're forced to integrate that new information. Researchers have found that the more wildly wrong our prediction was, the quicker we learn. The brain, you might say, feeds on failure. We are acutely sensitive to negative feedback, and this “negativity bias” drives learning, at least from teenagehood on up.

李嘉诚：我之所以不失败，只因记住了7个词!
第一个词：尊重
按照南方周末记者的描述，11月22日，他们来到位于香港中环的长江集团中心，李嘉诚的办公所在地。
14：30，门打开，85岁的李嘉诚满面笑容地走进来，步子很快，没有任何搀扶。他和每一个人握手，微微弯腰递上名片，微笑着，认真地看着每一个人，近乎多余地用带潮州音的普通话自我介绍：“李嘉诚”。
在接受记者采访过程中，李嘉诚时时处处都表现出这一点。李认真地倾听每一个人的问题，生怕没有回答清楚，约好了用普通话采访，李就一直用普通话，虽然潮州话对他来说更自如。李会照顾每一个人的感受，听问题时，专注如小学生;回答时，一定会看着对方。
李给每个人都发了一张名片，但轮到摄影师时，名片派完了。让人意外的是，采访进行到一半，李突然向远处的助手要了一张，补给了摄影师。他的举动是如此自然。

第二个词：自律

85岁的人，他用的是最新潮的电子设备。
点评：想要颠覆别人，先要颠覆自己。
第六个词：认错
，李嘉诚的长子李泽钜被世纪大盗张子强绑架，对方单枪匹马到李家中，开口就要20亿，李当场同意，但表示“现金只有10亿，如果你要，我可以到银行给你提取”。
李的镇静，连张子强都很意外，张问他：你为何这么冷静?
李回答道：因为这次是我错了，我们在香港知名度这么高，但是一点防备都没有，比如我去打球，早上五点多自己开车去新界，在路上，几部车就可以把我围下来，而我竟然一点防备都没有，我要仔细检讨一下。
点评：认错并愿意付出代价和承担责任，这是让你可以失败多次而不会死的黄金法则。
第七个词：保守
比如说，负债率。李嘉诚对这一指标的控制，近乎偏执，他经常说的一句话是：“旱时，要备船以待涝;涝时，要备车以待旱。一家公司即使有盈利，也可以破产，一家公司的现金流是正数的话，便不容易倒闭。”
李嘉诚告诉南方周末记者，长实20的负债比例是4%，和黄是21%，位于加拿大的Husky，负债比例只有12%。李对此深以为豪，“我从1950年开始做生意，对负债和贷款问题，我一直非常小心处理，虽然经历过不少风风雨雨，但也一路走了过来。”

篇7：成功与失败
老师曾说：“我很喜欢看举重比赛，因为那是一个选手拼搏精神与毅力的集中体现。”于是我对举重比赛的态度从漠不关心转为极度关注。
比赛中获得奖牌的选手很多，失败的选手更多。我为获胜者激动，亦为一位成功的失败者而感动。
韩国选手李培永就是这位“成功的失败者”。他开始举重时就挑战184KG的重量，可是左脚却突然抽筋，腿软下来的他惊恐的带着沉重的杠铃跪在结实的地板上，他的左膝关节也承受不了负荷而受伤。
虽然受伤，但李培永坚持自己走来后台。只待他处理伤势完毕后，这个一瘸一拐的身影重新出现在场上，四周鼓励的掌声不断。于是他提铃发力时杠铃再次被重重地摔下，或许第一次受伤实在不轻，而是凭着不放弃的信念而撑下来的罢！
选手接二连三，不乏实力超群的，当观众热切地等待着下一位实力选手时，李培永再次登上他历史性的比赛舞台，顿时整个现场都沸腾起来，处处都是呐喊助威的声音，不分洲际，不分语言。
李培永站在台上又一次吃力的举起杠铃，但取得的仅仅是遗憾和痛心。他脸上充满了痛苦与失望，跪在地上的他伏在地上。没有人能看到他的脸，他是否在伤心地哭着？无人知晓。受伤的腿依然是他唯一的负担。我无比感动，是一种从来没有试过的，无法用言语表达的内心的震撼！
即使失败了，但他的行动完全和奥林匹克精神相媲美。
篇8：成功与失败
每个人，都活在竞争之中。或职业之间的竞争，或成绩之间的竞争，或实力之间的竞争........竞争的胜利，其实就代表着成功。每个人都很希望自己是个成功的人，一个在众多人中的成功者。但是，成功真的很容易吗？说实话，不容易。如果成功很容易，那么这个世界会是什么样的呢？每个人都目中无人，每个人都觉得自己在这个世上是鹤立鸡群，每个人都觉得自己是个伟大的成功者。那么，这个世界的运行轨迹是不是被破坏了呢？人外有人，天外有天，一个“成功”人士在目前被人称为“成功者”，但是，或许若干年后另一个人也许会拿走这个人的桂冠。什么叫成功？一个人认为自己成功了，也许在另一个人眼里，这不算成功；或者，一个人认为自己还需要进步，可另一个人却觉得他已经是个成功者了。成功没有定义，它可以是一次小小的比赛取得胜利，还可以是一次挑战取得胜利，也可以是一次打赌，而取得的胜利。是否成功，完全在于个人的看法。每个人都可以认为自己成功了，每个人也可以认为自己还需要取得进步......成功真的那么重要吗？事实上，成功与否在某种意义上不重要。有些事情，重在参与。只要你参与进来了，成不成功无所谓。只要付出了努力和汗水，即使没有成功，我们也是最后的赢家，因为，我们学到了宝贵的经验。既然成功没有那么重要，我们为何又要力求成功呢？我们要学会释然对结果，不论成功与否，我们都能骄傲的面对每一天的太阳，因为，我们努力过、奋斗过！努力给自己加油，释然对待成功与失败。只要你认为你是夜空中星星中最亮的一颗，那你就是那颗璀璨的星星！

很多人会说成功来自勤奋，成功来自努力，但是，如果你努力的方向不对，那就白用功了。只有一件事是肯定的，那就是，失败能使人变得更成功。
失败能让人更努力、更勤奋，从而使人更成功，就像人们常说的：“在一个坑里摔倒一次，就不能摔第二次。”只有失败能使人痛心彻骨地领悟：自己需要更努力、更勤奋。下面，我来举个例子。

“失败乃成功之母！”印证这句话最好的例子，便是我们学过的一篇课文《司马迁发愤写<史记>》，里面写司马迁历经磨难，仍入狱受刑，此时，他心里装的不是怎样活下去，而是要把心中的历史传承给后人，于是忍受常人不能忍受之屈辱，写下“史家之绝唱，无韵之离骚”。这样的例子还有很多，史学家谈迁，20多年写成《国榷》，一天之间遭遇盗贼，一生心血化为乌有，但他重头再来，写下更精彩、更详实的《国榷》；屈原一心为国，即使遭遇放逐，仍一步一回首，倾吐绵绵心血——《离骚》，最终为国殉身……这些名人都是经历了从顺顺利利、才华横溢到历经坎坷、多灾多难才名垂青史的。
“不经历风雨，怎能见彩虹”，此刻，《真心英雄》这首歌轻轻萦绕在我的耳畔。是啊！不经历失败，又怎能见成功呢？
