Everybody celebrated Christmas， you received what gift I guess everyone is mom and dad to buy you but I am a Santa Claus。 I have received Santa Claus gift for twice。

之后，我有拿了一部分送给我的好朋友，一部分用来装饰家了，让家边得的更加没观。圣诞节快到了，不只是我们开心，做生意的老板和员工都很高兴，老板是高兴赚了许许多多的钱，员工是高兴工资高了。这不，我妈妈在太平鸟男装店上班，她们店的生意可兴隆了。柜台前挤满了人，受里拿着大包小包的的衣服。妈妈还做了两千多块钱呢!这样的话，要数最开心的是我了，因为妈妈的工资高了，就会给我买很多很多零食，到时候我吃也吃不过来了。圣诞节虽然是外国人的节日，但我们还是很高兴。

Christmas is one of the most important celebrations of the year for the western countries. It falls on the twenty- fifth of December and has the same importance as Chinese New Year to people with English backgrounds. The celebration is for the birth of Jesus Christ, who is the son of God in Christianity. Now days Christmas is no longer only celebrated by the Christians, but by most people from all over the world.
On the twenty- fourth of December everyone gets excited for it’s the day before Christmas which is called Christmas Eve. The children are usually sent to bed early and are warned that “Santa Claus will only come and give you a present if you be good.” The younger kids actually believe that Santa will come down the chimney on the sleigh that’s pulled by his reindeers. Food like short bread and beer are prepared for Santa when he comes, however most times parents just eat them. Some children put socks and sacks up for the holding of the presents (that their parents put in).
Rise and shine on Christmas morning! The children are always the first ones to wake up, some even do at four. Present wrappers everywhere! They look into their presents with a big smile on their face and oh dear….I hope no one’s disappointed. I feel sorry for anyone that got pink underwear. Children play while dinner is prepared by the adults. The Christmas dinner are usually eaten together by relatives. The tradition of Christmas pudding and roosters are usually eaten with deserts afterwards. The rest of the day is usually games and fun before the good days all come to an end.

December 25th is Christmas day, my mother told me: Christmas is not a traditional Chinese festival, it is a festival in western countries the biggest, equivalent to the Spring Festival of our country.
Now our country Christmas is very grand. A few days before Christmas, go into the street, every corner lets a person feel the atmosphere of the festival. Most of the merchants, shopping malls with a Christmas tree and with a charming smile form to Santa Claus, some on the door, and some in the hall. The Christmas tree is tower, wearing a green dress, slow little taco bell, as long as gently touched, jingle, make beautiful sounds, all sorts of color of small lights like the stars in the sky blink of an eye, and as a small colorful lanterns, flash, beautiful!
Many merchants in order to attract customers eye, in a transparent glass door spew out all kinds of Christmas gifts of graphics, some direct hit “celebrate Christmas promotion” of all kinds of benefits of advertising. Tomorrow is Christmas Eve, I hope every children want presents can have a big surprise, of course I was no exception.

Although it is generally agreed that the Christmas tree in its current form came from Germany in the early 19th century, the tradition of decorating a tree to mark winter celebrations dates back hundreds of years to Roman times, when they used to decorate evergreen trees with small pieces of metal to celebrate Saturnalia.
In medieval times the ‘Paradise Play‘ was performed every year on 24 December. This depicted the creation of Man and the fall of Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden and always included an evergreen hung with apples which represented the apple tree of temptation.
There is a legend that St Boniface, an English monk, came upon a group of pagans gathered around an oak tree who were preparing to sacrifice a child to the God Thor. In order to stop the sacrifice, and save the child‘s life, St Boniface is said to have felled the tree with one blow of his fist. Later on, a fir tree grew in place of the oak and this, St Boniface told the pagans, was the Tree of Life and represented the Christ Child.
Legend also suggests that, in the late 16th century, Martin Luther (the founder of the Protestant religion) was the first to decorate an indoor tree with candles when he attempted to recreate the stars shining over a forest of evergreens.
The first mention of decorated trees being taken indoors came in 1605 in Germany - a country with a long Christmas tree history! The trees were initially decorated with fruit and sweets together with hand made objects such as quilled snowflakes and stars. German Christmas Markets began to sell shaped gingerbreads and wax ornaments which people bought as souvenirs of the fair and took home to hang on their tree.
Tinsel was also invented in Germany in about 1610. Up until fairly recently real silver was used, which was pulled into wafer thin strips by special machines. This was durable but tarnished quickly and mmany experiments took place to try and find an alternative - including a mix off lead.
