英语教学大纲规定高中毕业学生达到“能在学过的题材和语言范围内写短文和书信，意思连贯，拼写正确 ，语法用词、标点和格式基本正确”。为此，我们在高三复习的同时开展了课外英语写作活动。以写作来促进 语法、词汇和句型的复习。通过点拨、诱导、启发使学生克服了对英语写作的畏难情绪，激发成功的乐趣和提 高了表达能力。本文以写气候为例。
一、提供范文
活动一开始，我们以BookⅡ（J.）第十五课课文The Seasons为作文的范文，先让学生阅读模仿，然后两人 一组用完整句子回答理解题。
二、归纳词语
范文中往往有大量的词汇和词语要求学生归纳整理。学生板书所学有关气候的`词汇和短语。

根据范文我们给学生一组问题，让学生根据实际情况进行回答或两人一组进行口头作文。这组问题实际上 是口（笔）头作文的提纲，在口头作文的基础上进行书面作文。 (1) How many seasons are there in your country? (2) What are the names of the seasons?
