点拨、诱导、启发、激励―一开展课外英语写作活动 论文

英语教学大纲规定高中毕业学生达到“能在学过的题材和语言范围内写短文和书信,意思连贯,拼写正确 ,语法用词、标点和格式基本正确”。为此,我们在高三复习的同时开展了课外英语写作活动。以写作来促进 语法、词汇和句型的复习。通过点拨、诱导、启发使学生克服了对英语写作的畏难情绪,激发成功的乐趣和提 高了表达能力。本文以写气候为例。

一、提供范文

活动一开始,我们以BookⅡ(J.)第十五课课文The Seasons为作文的范文,先让学生阅读模仿,然后两人 一组用完整句子回答理解题。

二、归纳词语

范文中往往有大量的词汇和词语要求学生归纳整理。学生板书所学有关气候的`词汇和短语。

sunny warm cool It always rains in summer.

hot cold windy The flowers come out in spring.

rainy wet dry The best season of the year is spring.

cloudy mild fair It’s spring,the time when everything is growing.

Snowy It’s autumn,the time for peasants to get in the crops.

三、组织提纲

根据范文我们给学生一组问题,让学生根据实际情况进行回答或两人一组进行口头作文。这组问题实际上 是口(笔)头作文的提纲,在口头作文的基础上进行书面作文。 (1) How many seasons are there in your country? (2) What are the names of the seasons? (3) How is the weather in the winte,summer,spring and autumn? (4) What is the best season of the year? why? (5) What season do you like best?why ? (6) Is there anything certain about the weather in your country?

四、补充词语

学生在根据提纲作文时需要一些能表达自己思想的词语。教师有意识地补充扩大有关天气的词语。诸如:

He is a fair-weather friend.
