你发this, thank, they,和little, wool等单词困难吗?
7. Practice makes perfect.

比如很多学生对于雅思口语part2中the film that you would like to watch again的回答都是Titanic,没毛病!

You should say:
what it is
when you first became interested in it
how you will learn about it
and explain why you want to learn more about it.
One of my biggest passions in life is food. I would say I’m not generally a fussy eater and I’m willing to try pretty much anything. I like food from all over the world, whether it’s spicy curries from India or delicious pasta dishes from Italy.
Unfortunately, while I’m very good at eating food, I’m not so great at cooking it! I can cook basic food, but my culinary skills are certainly nothing to write home about. I used to watch my mum cook at home, but not a lot of her talent rubbed off on me. Nevertheless, it sparked my interest in cooking and food in general.
I guess I could learn how be a better cook by reading a recipe book or watching cookery programmes on TV, but to be honest I think I’d be better off going to lessons. Once I’ve picked up the basics I can always try using a book at home, but to start I think I should have a teacher telling me what to do.
One thing I love to be able to do is cook an Indian curry from scratch. The best curries are always cooked without using a jar of sauce, but it requires a lot of different spices and you need to know how to use them.
I think it would be great to be a better cook as cooking can be very therapeutic and relaxing. Besides, everyone loves a good cook and it’s helpful to impress members of the opposite sex!
Describe a photo or painting you like in your home.
You should say:
where and when the photo was taken or painted
which room it is in
what there are in the photo or painting
and explain why you like it.
Actually, I have a few paintings in my home. My girlfriend says it’s beginning to look like an art gallery! I guess you could call me a bit of an art-aholic, though I’m certainly no connoisseur.
By far my favourite piece is a large oil painting on canvas that I picked up on my travels in Bali. I had to roll it up to get it back to China and once I got home I had a bespoke frame made for it. It depicts a tree or plant of some sort, using an array of colours, from deep blues to vivid yellows. The image is very simple, being formed from a number of different coloured dots.
At the moment it is the centerpiece of my living room, takes pride of place on the main wall behind my sofa. There are other pieces of art in there, including some small statues and figurines, but they are eclipsed by the large oil painting, which truly dominates the room. Every guest we have visit passes comment on it, often complimenting its vibrant colours or simple aesthetic beauty.
For me personally, it’s a combination of all the things I have already mentioned. Plus, it reminds me of the places I have been and the things I have experienced on my trips abroad. The memories come flooding back every time l look at my picture. This is the primary reason I collect paintings and the reason I have more works of art than I do wall space!
Describe a piece of good news you heard from TV or the Internet.
You should say:
what the news was about
when you got this news
where you got this news from
and explain why you think it was a good piece of news.
I once read a piece of good news on the website of the New York Times. It was two years ago, I was still a journalism student and one of my tutors assigned me to do a presentation for my news-gathering course. The time limit was five minutes and it was supposed to be a critique, i.e., stating clearly what was good and bad about the story.
So I started preparing for my assignment. I was skimming through pages and clicking around when this article caught my eye. Basically, it was about a high school student who got bullied because he stuttered. The news story was a good one because it wasn’t what I expected it to be — a one-sided story that went on about the poor boy.
This piece was actually rather fair and balanced. It tried to show the readers what had happened to the stutterer and they gave the alleged bullies a chance to give their side of the story. From the journalistic perspective, it was a neat one.
Describe a subject you didn't like before but have interest in now.
You should say:
what it was
when you studied the subject
why you didn't like it before
and explain why you have interest in it now.
Let’s just say, I was far from an angel at school. I guess I wasn’t that bad, but no one would call me a model student. There were a few subjects I really didn’t care for, but mainly it was Chinese.
I’ve obviously studied Chinese throughout my school life, but it was particularly excruciating during senior high-school, so when I was around 11 to 17 years old.
Wow, where do I start? Firstly, our teacher was awful. His name was Mr Zhang and he was a real old fuddy-duddy who would only teach from the textbook and regularly bored us to death. We would have to commit countless things to memory, lots of ancient stuff like poems and chengyu, which are Chinese phrases made from between 3 to 16 characters, although the most common use 4. I couldn’t see a use for these things in modern life, they just didn’t seem practical.
As I got older and more mature, I started to respect Chinese more. I dug out some of my old textbooks and began flicking through them. Second time round they made more sense to me and I engaged with them a lot more.
Nowadays there is a greater interest in Chinese, with a variety of TV shows such as “Chengyu Yingxiong”, which means ‘Chengyu Hero’. These shows celebrate people’s knowledge of characters and in doing so celebrate our culture.
Describe a time when you were surprised to meet a friend.
You should say:
When it was
Who you met
Where it was
And explain why you were surprised to meet him/her
The time I was really surprised to meet a friend, quite by accident, was when I was in Venice on holiday. I was crossing St. Mark’s Square with my mother and father and suddenly I saw an old university friend, standing there in the square about ten meters away taking photos. At first I thought it was just someone that looked like him, but as I tentatively approached I realized it really was him! It was incredible really… I went over and said hello, and he was as shocked as I was! He was on holiday, on his own in fact, staying in a small hotel in Venice. You see, he was studying in Milan at university, studying fashion design… and he had come to Venice for a few days for a short trip and to take photos – he’s a huge photography fan. We all went out that night for a meal in a restaurant together and he told us about his experiences in Italy and how much he loved the country and how he was doing on his design course. Then after my parents went to bed we went out for a few drinks in some of the more local bars and got to know a few of the local people – which was pretty interesting. It was such a great and unpextected encounter, I’ll never forget it!
Part 3
1. Are there any meetings that people need to prepare in advance?
Yes, sure. Lots – usually work meetings for new projects – or maybe even meetings about buying a house or getting a loan. Things like this. You usually need to prepare in advance for most kinds of meetings to be honest – so that you can get the most out of the meeting by being informed beforehand of what is going to happen, and the possible outcomes. A good meeting can be highly constructive and productive – but a meeting where a bunch of people don’t know what’s going on or don’t bother prepare anything, can be a waste of time.
2. Are there any jobs that often deal with unexpected things?
Yes, I think so. Perhaps if you are in the police force or the military you might have to deal with all sorts of things that happen, with no real warning – like emergency situations, if there is an accident, or a robbery, or any sort of crime situation. I’d say these professions usually have to deal with unexpected things fairly frequently.
3. What makes a good friend?
A good friend is someone who is loyal, understanding, shares the same or similar interests as you do, and will always be there to listen to you when you need help, or support emotionally or practically. These, in my opinion, are the key qualities of a good friend.
Describe an occasion when you lost your way.
You should say:
Where you were
What happened
How you felt about it
And explain how you found your way
I’ve lost my way many times actually – I have a terrible sense of direction! But the one time that I remember when I got really stressed and worried was when I was with a friend in London. We had gone on a holiday together and we didn’t go out with our mobile phones so we couldn’t use GPS maps to help us. We went to see the Tower of London, which was a long walk from where we were staying, and on the way back we got completely lost, and then it started to rain. We managed to get a paper map from a friendly hotel receptionist, but the map was confusing and we got even more lost, especially as the map started to get soaking wet with all the rain. The English weather is really unpredictable. Eventually we gave up and hailed a taxi – taxis are really expensive in London as well, but anyway, eventually we got back to our hostel, showered and dried off. The thing I got nervous about was that London is quite big and we ended up getting lost in some areas that seemed a bit run-down and perhaps not very safe. You have to be very careful in big cities that you don’t know, because you don’t know which areas are safe or not to go wandering around in, especially when the sun sets and it gets dark. I felt a bit scared at times. Also when you get lost in a foreign country you feel more nervous because you don’t feel in control, you’re not on familiar territory, so getting lost can be a very unnerving experience. I was so relieved when we eventually got back to the hostel though. Next time I’m in a foreign country I will certainly make sure I have the international service on my phone open, and take my phone so I can use GPS maps!!
Part 3
1. Why do some people get lost more easily than others?
Some people, like my brother, as one example, have a great sense of direction – it’s as if they are born with it! Other people just can’t find their way around even familiar places without easily getting lost. I don’t really know why. I think it might be related to their notions of spatial awareness or how they find landmarks and compass directions in big cities or not. Others have a better awareness of how maps work, and can use online tools on their phones really well. Older people may have trouble with this modern technology.
2. Do you think it is important to do some preparation before you travel to new places?
Yes, I think before going to a new place it’s important to find out about the language, the culture and the general layout of a new city. Just so you have a basic idea of what lies ahead of you, what to expect and also what areas of the city are safe, as well as what behavior is appropriate or inappropriate in another country.
3. How can people find their way when they are lost?
The best way to find your way when lost if either use a mobile phone app or ask locals along the way to help you. In most places locals are pretty helpful if they see a stranger or a visitor who is lost, so I think it’s always a good idea to ask people for directions. Some people get nervous about asking others for directions. I’m not sure why. But it’s always a good idea to try to prepare in advance so that you know where you’re going and know how

1. This is a tough question. I have never heard about it, nor have I ever read about it (倒装句丰富句型).
2. Give me a few seconds for me to search every piece of information in my head now.
3. It is an abstract question. I know little about it.
4. Are you asking me something about+你重复一下句子中的关键词…?
5. Have I given enough information? It would be great if you could give me more.
6. Am I making myself clear?
7. Now you want me to talk about it. But I don't have too much to say.
8. Give me a few seconds for me to organize my thought a little bit.
1.“ well”
2.“you know”
3.“actually”
4.“I mean”
5.“personally”
6.“to be honest”
7.“on the other hand”
8. “frankly”
“as a matter of fact”等等,这些表达也叫discourse marker (语篇标记),也就是并不改变句子本质意思的语言填充物。
1) 场景一,当你没有听懂时,可用:Could you please paraphrase (转述)that question/topic?/I’m not exactly sure what you mean +某一个生词…
I’m not exactly sure how to answer that question, but perhaps+
That’s rather difficult question, but I wonder if could give me more information about that.
I’m sorry, but I don’t know much about…
1.That’s difficult to answer, but (maybe)…
2.I’m sorry, but I don’t know much about…but perhaps…
3.Maybe I can answer your question by telling you about a personal experience I had.
4.That’s an interesting question…let me see. Well, I suppose that…
5.Yes, that’s a big issue.
1.In other words, I am…
2.And that means…
3.Let me put it another way,…
4.What I’m suggesting is…
5.All I’m trying to say is…

9.Perhaps it would be more accurate to say…
10.The point I’m making is that…
1.Have I given you enough information?
2.Would you like me to tell you more about…?
3.Is that all you’d like to know?

2.I think that’s all.

Good morning. Good afternoon. I’m very well. Thank you. Pleased to meet you. I beg your pardon. What exactly would you like to know? Perhaps I can begin by telling you about… Recently, I’ve been studying at … Recently, I’ve been working at … I’ve been studying English for (1 year)... The reason I’m taking the test is because … Would you like to know about …? Before that I studied at … Before that I worded at … At the moment I’m studying at … At the moment I’m working at … Have I answered your question? Is there anything else you wish to know?
Well, I am going to talk about my wife, who i look forward to beginning a new adventure with.
Her name is X.X.X and we got married one year ago. She works in a hospital specialised for foreigners and, thus she can speak English with ease to those folks without feeling awkwardness or cringiness.
She loves foreign films and literature to the extent that I sometimes call her a name-dropper of some top figures that I never heard of. And then she will call me an illiterate in return.
Life is busy and usually we don’t have a mutual slot of time off to travel and also essentially we are not some travel buffs we would like to be. So that is why our honeymoon travel to Morocco is so special and an eye-opening experience. That’s our first real travel together and then it’s North Africa 5000 miles away. So guess she is this type of person who either won’t do it or do it big. That 10 days` vacation is surreal for me but for her it is just like a fish-return-to-the-water journey.
As you maybe know, ordinary Morocco people speak Arabic and French, but she really enjoy herself there, bargaining with the hawkers for some beautiful handworks with limited words and bountiful body languages. Usually I am a pious observer of the war of tug and enjoy every bit of my wife’s languages, expressions, and gestures. So if you ask me why I want to travel with my wife, especially the international one, I can tell you because she can blend fast into the unfamiliar world turning herself into a semi-local with curiosity and open-mindedness. Many Chinese travel reviews say the Moroccan food is boring ,untidy and tasteless, and it is Tajin, Tajin and Tajin everywhere. but following my wife, I ate Tajin food nearly every day, most importantly with delight, since it really soared beyond our expectations. She talked to people from USA, Europe, Austrialia, and east Africa, danced with them, and had dinner with them. Oh gush, how I hope I can open myself as she does.

younger brother, once in a while, legend, background, creativity, style, inspire, job ladder, it’s always good to…
让我们一起来看看8分语音的要求“uses a wide range of phonological features to convey meaning effectively”,何为“语音特征”?
1.说英语时语调可以夸张一点;
l It’s not that difficult to play.
l It’s a lovely view indeed. The air becomes cleaner. It feels fresh and nice.
l Today internet shopping is a really significant part of the retail sector in China.
