Actually, there are quite a lot of popular leisure activities people would like to do near the sea, such as strolling along the beach, writing characters or drawing pictures on the sand, or just playing beach volleyball with a bunch of playmates. There's something I would like to do when I am at the beach in my hometown - is definitely digging into sand for shellfish such asclams.
Lucky for me I grew up near the sea. When I was little, I could go there everyday with my playmates, doing all kinds of fun things. It was more like a large playground for us.
Digging into sand is my favorite seaside activity，and it is a very relaxing activity andminimal thinking is required. All you need to do is keep digging slowly and gently. If you dig them with great strength, you would probably end up with lots of smashed shells. Each time I can bring home a little bucket of clams.
Digging into sand doesn't necessarily mean that I am very patient. I just love to spend hours doing things I like. And I bet few people wouldn't love digging clams as it is so easy and fulfilling. You can imagine how happy I am carrying so many clams home before sunset. Because of me, my family would have one more palatable dish on the table.

I like to try sunbathing near the sea! You know, all or most Chinese girls like to have white skin, just take the Snow White as the example; they all would like to have flawless, silky and niveous skin! However, the permanent tan is also unique and beautiful, right? I’ve searched for much information about the sunbathing. I find out that there’s much to prepare before sunbathing. First of all, you have to choose a clean, flat and dry place for your sunbathing, green zone is a better choice since you have to avoid over exposure to radiation or poisoning. I like to try sunbathing because I think there’s no fixed standard of what beauty is. For the skin color, bronzed skin is also very healthy and attractive. I feel that we should exploit the natural resources as much as possible to enjoy the gifts from nature—to make things easy. There may be best solutions to some mysteries that have puzzled people over several centuries. For example, some illness could be efficiently cured by sunbathing here. The activity I would do when I am alone and free is to play a computer game called the Romance of the Three Kingdoms. It is a turn-based tactical role-playing simulation grand strategy wargames produced by Koei. Thirteen installments of the game have been published since 1985 and my favorite one is the 11th.
I usually play it on the Sunday afternoon when I have finished all my homework. But this is not fixed. If I am bored, I may turn on the computer and play for one or two hours even during the weekdays. There are also some times that I am so busy that I do not touch it for a month. The frequency highly depends on my daily routine.
It is a console game and the AI would play my enemies. So I do not need a partner or an opponent. But there was a time when my friends and I compete with each other to see who would be the first to unify the country.
The game is based on a period of real history in China when numerous heroes fought against each other and left their legends. By playing this game, you can change their destiny and experience their lives. That is why I like playing it when I am alone in my spare time.

As for the interesting animal, I’d like to tell you about the koi fish which is very popular in China, Japan and other Asian countries. As far as I know, the koi fish is colourful variation of the common carp. Some of the major colours are white, black, red, yellow and cream, so they look particularly fantastic.
The koi are hearty fish. They can thrive in cold, fresh waters. And they are opportunistic fish, which means they eat a wide range of food, including insects, fish eggs, juvenile fish of other species and a diverse range of plants. Chinese people feed the koi fish for more than 1000 years.
