我们看到,通过电视电影创作者和组织者的共同努力,一批具有鲜明电视节目个性、适合荧屏放映模式的佳作已闪亮登场,受到观众由衷的喜爱和专家的首肯,如《情不自禁》、《警威壮贺兰》、《刑警张玉贵》系列、《杨门女将》系列、《咱得有个家》、《一介平民》、《半碗村传奇》、《我真棒》、《恋爱季节》、《我和连长》、《九月还乡》等。从这批作品中,我们欣喜发现,一批有着清醒头脑的电视电影制作者,由于对电视电影特性的准确理解而走出了一条可行之路。这是非常可喜的现象,由于诸多的原因,国产电影市场的长期低迷,电视电影在许多对中国电影充满危机感的人的眼里,已成为中华民族电影的最后一道防线。所以电视电影能够稳步发展并深入人心,实在是中国电影界的一大幸事。但电视电影到底应该是一种什么形态,它应该具有什么样的特征,这在许多人的眼里还存在着一些误区和不甚明了之处。
电视电影的时间长度特点
今年五月在大学生电影节一次有关电视电影研讨会上,有学者提出;电视电影应该灵活多样,对它的时长不能有所限制,应该是长短自由,不一定要90分钟左右,可60分钟,可120分钟。

有的电视电影内容丰富,人物形象既丰满又可信可亲,而有着无限延续下去的可能。仅90分钟,讲述有关这个人物的一个故事便嘎然而止,未免令人意犹未尽。为此,就出现了电视电影系列剧。《刑警张玉贵》系列,《杨门女将》系列都是成功的范例。这种模式在中外电影、电视剧中都有先例,中国代末的.18集电影连续片《火烧红莲寺》、日本系列片《寅次郎的故事》、美国的《007》影片、台湾的电视系列剧《包青天》等等。
叙事方式和民族化的审美关照在叙事特性上,电影艺术是一种“观看”,而电视艺术是一种“阅读”,所以电视电影的叙事便显得尤为重要。电视进入千家万户,对象主要是具有民族审美习性的中国老百姓,所以符合中华民族传统审美习性的经典叙事方式当是电视电影的首要选择。从电视电影作品《情不自禁》、《一介平民》、《我真棒》、《九月还乡》、《恋爱季节》等的叙事特征中,我们可以清楚地看到一种素质,那就是:以经典的叙事方式表达对民族审美习性的尊重和体贴。首先,这些故事在叙事结构上晓畅明了,开端、发展、高潮、结局等各阶段环环相扣;善恶分明,矛盾突出;叙事理想上,善恶有报,结局团圆。坚持塑造理想人物。如主持人间公道为民作主的包公,天不怕地不怕,智勇双全正直勇敢无坚不摧的孙大圣等等。他们身上寄托着百姓的理想,是百姓的代言人,这种审美习性实际上表现出的是中国百姓的道德观和价值观。无论时代如何发展,一个民族集体意识中最本质的东西永远不会变。艺术家把握住这一点,就把握住了艺术成功的法宝。
电视电影的视听特性

And at long day, they must be pretty quiet and even a little noise was forbidden. In addition, windows were just at there, but they couldn’t open the curtains to look outside and breathe fresh air. they must observe the orders every day : no taps to be turned on;therefore, no washing, silence, everything to be finished by eight o’clock and no lavatory. If we were them, we would have gotten crazy. In the book, a detail was impressive. When the families were going to move the new shelter, they did a lot of preparing work. They put on heaps of clothes as if they were going to the North Pole. For example, Anne, she had on two vests, there pairs of pants, a dress, on top of that a skirt, jacket, summer coat, two pairs of stocking, lace-up shoes, woolly cap, scarf ,and still more. Kids are terrified when TV shows are bloody and violent.
Kids are terrified to death when their teacher declares seriously that there will be a “very, very” important examination, and that will be their last chance to survive the class.
Kids are terrified even when Dad or Mom doesn't say a word to them for the whole night after receiving their school report.

在“电视电影”(TVmovie)这一舶来品在曰益走近我们的时候,可以发现这样一个事实:以往是有众多的外国的电视电影作品充斥着我国艺术市场,那么现今我们的国产电视电影作品正在蓬勃地发展起来;由于我们的艺术家们的大胆地探索,电视电影作为影视合流新型的艺术形式,正在成为当代电视传媒及其电影艺术整合发展的新的爆发点。观往知来,电视电影的艺术形式发展在我国是个艰辛而成果显著的过程,由此也正预示着其将成为令人关注与喜爱的影视艺术之一族。
在国外,电视电影也有着一个发展的过程。譬如,美国的电视传媒业在20世纪的60年代已篷勃发展,电视的魅力吸引着大众的眼球,电视很快成为当时大众最为时尚和最为普及的大众文化消费形态,而且,在很大程度上影响和改变着广大受众的价值观念与生活方式。那些各样令人眼花缭乱的电视节目,有力地滋养了美国电视传媒业的茁壮成长,也诱发着整个英语世界亿万观众的审美期待。因此为了提高电视节目的收视率,电视播出电影是一个极为重要的切入点。当然由于种种原因,在电视播出电影问题上当时受到了种种限制,而且对电视播出电影多带有抵制行为和轻视情绪。为了拍摄一些成本较低而且又兼具电影故事片艺术特质的节目在电视上播出,这时一种被称做“电视电影”的影视艺术形式便应运而生。
当社会文化发展到一个历史时期,影视合流已是大势所趋,很快成为大众所喜闻乐见的一种艺术形式。当时代进入20世纪80年代后,欧美等国家的电视电影迅速崛起。一时间,英国在80年代,其电视电影也成为电视传媒业一个突出的新增长点,出现了众多优秀的电视电影作品。在90年代的美国的电视电影已经大大占领了商业电视网黄金时段的节目。在90年代,我国中央电视台的?正大综艺m目特开辟了“正大剧场”,系统引入了一大批优秀的美国电视电影作品,这样一方面满足了国人的艺术欣赏需求,另一方面这对我们自身的电视电影业的发展也起到了很大的推促进用。比如有被中国的广大电视观众所熟悉的<〈神探亨特》,有享誉国际影坛的大师基取斯洛夫斯基于1988年执导拍摄了轰动欧洲影视界的电视电影系列片《十诫》,他根据《十戒》改编的电影版《关于杀人的短片》和<〈关于爱情的短片〉僧一度轰动世界影坛。美国的好莱坞著名导演斯皮尔伯格曾于2001年与好莱坞著名影星汤姆?汉克斯合作拍摄了被公认当今世界最昂贵的电视电影《兄弟连队》,也成为震人心灵的大片。
在我国,由于特殊的原因,也走了类似于美国一样的道路。在上一世纪90年中期,我国中央电视台在六频道开播了电影频道,此标志着电视电影在我国已独占一席地位的开始。也因此,其迅速吸引了亿万电视观众的目光。事实表明,在很快的时间内,我们的家庭就成为当代电影欣赏主体,且巳是不挡之势迅速增长着。在通常情况下,一部影片在电影频道的收视率可达到上千万人次。可见,电影频道的开辟,是对传统的电影欣赏方式习惯的一大冲击和挑战。由于国产影片存在争取影院票房、争取收回成本、赚取票房利润的任务压力,因而无睱顾及电视在所难免。这样也就逼使电影频道于1999年起开始自行制作电视电影,在短短3年多时间里,电影频道已经摄制完成了350部电视电影。

值得注意的是,我们从电视的传媒平台上来看电视电影,应该说电视电影似乎更于发挥其电视作为重要传媒的文化传播的功能与价值。作为重要的传播载体形式的电视电影,它要借助电视的制作、传输、播出技术和借助电视沟通传播者与受众的特殊网络纽带,去完成对电影艺术作品的终极传播,正如事实上的收视数据表明的那样,电影借助电视传播的业绩是巨大的。因为受到如此传播环境和路径的制约,电视电影无论如何独立自主,但其仍然要依从和符合适应电视制作、传输和播出的技术,寻求适应电视化的表现方式和手段。现在,我国的电视电影还在普遍应用磁带拍摄、16毫米胶片拍摄的情况下,国外的高清晰度、数码摄像技术,早已被应用于电视电影的拍摄以及大型电影故事片的拍摄中。如美国著名导演卢卡斯的科幻片《克隆人的进攻》。虽然,目前电视电影的传播途径主要是电视媒介,但伴随着互联网宽带技术、数码影像合成技术、高清晰度摄像技术等的飞速发展,未来电视电影的多渠道传播路径将愈来愈宽阔。
电视电影多为上下集结构形式,在上下集之间便于电视播出台插播广告。现在,我国的电视剧艺术发展很快,特别是长篇剧和中篇剧已成为电视剧创作的主力军。主要因为受着电视剧播出反馈效应、商业操作和经济利益等多方面因素的影响,长篇剧和中篇剧正在成为当下电视剧创作者们趋之若骛的追求目标,正因为如此,电视短剧则成为了“被爱情遗忘的角落”。尽管我国“央视”也一度强力推出了全国优秀电视短剧展播活动,但是其起到的宣传和倡导作用是十分有限的。随着电视电影的兴起,则在一定程度上弥补了电视短剧创作的缺憾。具体而言,其正在替代和补偿着电视短剧尤其是单本剧的功能。电视电影作为近年电影频道大力扶植的新艺术形式,补充了中国影视剧创作当中短片剧的空挡,并且成为了其主导力量,由此扭转了中国电视剧短片创作每况愈下的不良情势。
可以说,这既对中国的电影艺术的一个贡献,同时也是对中国的电视艺术作出了一个重要贡献。随着我国电视剧的语言形态不断曰益完善,其审美功力也在曰益增强,这都为探索短片剧创作起到了重要的推动作用,从某种意义上说这其实是电影的一个实验园地和过程。放眼远观,某种意义和程度上,电视电影的发展可能会在未来将取代电视剧创作里面的短片创作。如果要从电视电影为何能够“取代”电视短剧或单本剧的深层因素来看,电视电影所具备的与电影艺术特征的亲近性是电视短剧或单本剧所无法企及的。虽说电视电影的艺术特性问题目前尚难有个准确的定论,但是,如果从其技术标准和艺术标准方面看,大家普遍认为:在技术标准上,相对于一般电视剧而言,电视电影所追求的是更精美的制作和高浓缩的审美效果,这也许是因为技术手段和材料介质问题差异,电视电影比起电视剧的影像更为清晰。为了达到应有的清晰度,电视电影更多使用电影胶片或数码技术来拍摄。而从艺术标准方面来看,无论是在题材上,还是在讲究严谨的结构和独特的语言及较高品位的内涵方面,电视电影创作的剧本都区别于一般的电视剧,同时在主题上也比电视剧更深化。然而,电视电影要在本土化的民族文化的空间上找到自身的地位,并注意发挥艺术的个性和在叙事方式、节奏以及文化含量等方面,都须向电影学习;同时,电视电影在选材方面也应追求平民化视点与国民心态的审美视角,以避免庸俗化。唯其如此,我国的电视电影方能够健全快速的发展,产生出更多更好的精神产品。以不断满足大众曰益增长着的视听审美需求。
