外教William Hill先生告诉我们:“I interviewed a lot of candidates in Shanghai, a few of which did impress me deeply with veteran skills. I was surprised at their spoken English because they appeared to be a Chinese American. I just couldn't decline them.”
外教William Hill先生告诉我们:“I interviewed a lot of candidates in Shanghai, a few of which did impress me deeply with veteran skills. I was surprised at their spoken English because they appeared to be a Chinese American. I just couldn't decline them.”
关于这个问题William Hill说:“I don't think candidates with those certificates are up to par1, because what we focus on is the communicating ability. And, as is known, CET and TEM don't seem to test one's speaking skills. But he who owns an IELTS or TOEFL certificate may be preferred.”
Could you say something about yourself? Could you sell yourself within a few minutes?
So don't miss the boat!
Why do you wanna work for us? What makes you come here today?
What do you think is your greatest weakness? May I know it?
I don't think I have any weakness“。
How do you like your last job? Why did ya leave your last job?
How long do you propose to work here?
Ok, now if you have any questions, please feel free to ask me.
“Nope, I have none, thanks!”
1、up to par
2、I won't let the cat out of the bag.
3、get on the ball
4、a piece of cake
5、face the music

SecondOne:What'syourgreatestweakness?

ThirdOne:Whydoyoufeelyouarequalifiedforthisjob?
Thisquestionisagoodopportunitytobragalittlebit.Youshouldtalkaboutsomeextraskillsyouhavethatmaybewasn'tincludedinyourresume,ortalkaboutyourgreateststrengthinmoredetail.
FourthOne:Whatkindofsalarydidyouhaveinmind?
Salaryishowmuchmoneyyouearn,usuallyperyear.Whenaskedthis,it'sbesttoanswerwithasalaryrangeorapproximationandnotanexactfigure.Thisshowsthatyouarefamiliarwiththeindustryifyouknowwhattheapproximatesalaryshouldbe.

SixthOne:Whatkindofworkdoesthepositioninvolve?

1. ”What can you tell me about yourself?“ This is not an invitation to give your life history. The interviewer is looking for clues about your character, qualifications, ambitions, and motivations.
The following is a good example of a positive response.
In high school I was involved in competitive sports and I always tried to improve in each sport I participated in. As a college student, I worked in a clothing store part-time and found that I could sell things easily. The sale was important, but for me, it was even more important to make sure that the customer was satisfied. It was not long before customers came back to the store and specifically asked for me to help them. I'm very competitive and it means a lot to me to be the best. After I joined the work, I worked hard and tried to grasp more knowledge that can support me to achieve my goal---to become a material manager before 30 years old.
2. ”Why do you want to work for us? This is an obvious question and, if you have done your research on the company, you should be able to give a good reason. 0rganize your reasons into several short sentences that clearly spell out your interest.
Your company is a leader in the field. Your company is a Fortune 5O0 company. Your management is very progressive.
3. “Why should I hire you?” Once again, you should not be long winded, but you should provide a summary of your qualifications. Be positive and show that you are capable of doing the job.
Based on the work that I have participated in and the related experiences I have had, I can do the job.
4. “How do you feel about your progress to date?” Never apologize for what you have done.
I think I did well in past years. In fact, I even worked as a purchasing leader I worked in Delta after 1 year, As an green hand for Slr, I was rewarded as Slr star in .
5. “What would you like to be doing five years from now?” Know what you can realistically accomplish. You can find out by talking to others about what they accomplished in their first five years with a particular company.
I hope to be the best I can be at my job and I only have 5 years to achieve my goal---to be promoted to material manager, I am planning on that also.
6. ”What is your greatest weakness?“ You cannot avoid this question by saying that you do not have any, everyone has weaknesses.
The best approach is to admit your weakness but show that you are working on it and have a plan to overcome it. If possible, cite a weakness that will work to the company's advantage.
When I began to work, I was not very care of my desk cleaning, one time, I missed a important document before a important meeting with supplier, it made me faced a big trouble, after that meeting, I asked our department assistant to help me to clean my desk and keep the habit till now.
7. ”What is your greatest strength“?” This is a real opportunity to toot your own horn. Do not brag or get too egotistical, but let the employer know that you believe in yourself and that you know your strengths.
I feel that my strongest asset is my ability to stick to things to get them done. I feel a real sense of accomplishment when I finish a job and it turns out just as I'd planned. I've set some high goals for myself. For example, I want to be promoted as a material manager before 30 years, And even though I had a slow start in my freshman year, I made up for it by hard work after that.

1. Would you briefly describe this company to me?
回答示范: “广盛发”, the name means “a big, prosperous company”, hehe, although it’s not really a very big company. But, it’s true that the company is quite prosperous. It specializes in exporting women’s shoes. With only 10 employees so far the turnover last year was up to 15,000,000 RMB. I am one of the three customer service officers, with the responsibility of order taking, tracking and general customer service roles. Due to the limited number of staff, we all work more than 10 hours a day, 7 days a week in busy season.
2. Would you describe your typical working day?
Yes. I would arrive at office half an hour earlier as my boss often gives me a lot of work once he comes in, and I have to be ready for it. My responsibilities are mainly to assist the sales manager and representatives with order tracking, stock reporting, document preparation and translation, using Excel, Word and PowerPoint. When the reps are on a business trip, I will deal with their share. Two thirds of my work involves computers, working on tables and forms precisely and quickly. The rest of time is to take care of the managers and reps, you know, do what they need me to.
3. Why do you want to leave your job?
1: To be honest, the reason I quit is that I am not pleased by my current job. My current work is in a vocational high school. Maybe I have to explain a bit more here. In China, vocational high schools are designed for the less-advanced students or the ones wanting work instead of going to university to further their education. As a result, the social status and the pay in vocational high schools are not at all satisfactory. I can never become a professor in this school. So, although teaching makes me happy, I have to leave this job because I can’t have long-term career development here.
2: Mainly for the higher pay. I have been serving as an accountant for this joint venture for nearly 3 years and my salary increased from 1,800 to 2,300, a fair raise actually. In the last two performance evaluations, I got two Bs in a row. I can earn 3,000 only by becoming a director, which is almost impossible because the current one is stable and performs well; he is not likely to leave. But of course, I am not working only for money. Changing jobs is asking for trouble. I am doing so for my career. This position is similar to my current one, and the company is a quite large, suitable one for long-term development. So, here I am.
3: The former company hasn’t done well in the past 2 years, they have to make some redundancy and our department is lucky enough to be one of them. What a pity.
4: Frankly speaking, I want to leave the job simply because I’m attracted by the position you offer. Compared with my current employer, Global Market is so much more renowned, offering a secure job and a long-term development. My current employer now offers an okay salary, but the career opportunities here are very limited because the size of business is relatively small. I think you can understand my choice.
5: I quit the job to study English. In my last job I should use English to communicate with foreigners but frankly speaking, my English wasn’t good enough. I knew I could perform better if my English was better. Finally, after two years of struggling with English, I decided to quit the job and recharge myself. I went to New Oriental School to study English.

Here are good answers to some of the tougher questions asked in job interviews. If you can smoothly supply answers like these during the interview, you are bound to make a good impression.
1. What is important to you in a job?
Mention specific rewards other than a paycheck for example, challenge, the feeling of accomplishment, and knowing that you have made a contribution.
2. Why do you want to work for this organization?
Cite its reputation, the opportunities it offers, and the working conditions. Stress that you want to work for this organization, not just any organization.
3. Why should we employ you?
Point to your academic preparation, job skills, and enthusiasm about working for the firm. Mention your performance in school or previous employment as evidence of your ability to learn and to become productive quickly. If the job involves management responsibilities, refer to past activities as proof of your ability to get along with others and to work as part of a team.
4. If we hire you, how long will you stay with us?
Answer by saying along these lines: “As long as my position here allows me to learn and to advance at a pace with my abilities.”
5. Can we offer you a career path?
Reply: “I believe you could, once I know the normal progression within the organization. Can you tell me about it?” The answer may be revealing.
6. What are your greatest strengths?
Give a response like one of the following: “I can see what needs to be done and do it”, “I''m wiling to make decisions”, “I work well with others,” “I can organize my time efficiently.”
7. What are you greatest weakness?
Identify one or two, such as the following:“ I tend to drive myself toohard”, “ I expect others to perform beyond their capacities”, “ I like to see a job done quickly, and I''m critical if it isn''t.” Note these weaknesses could also be regarded as desirable qualities. The trick with this question is to describe a weakness so that it could also be considered a virtue.
8. What didn''t you like about previous jobs you''ve held?
Discuss the things you didn''t like, but avoid making slighting reference to any of your former employers.
9. How do you spend your leisure time?
Mention a cross section of interests-active and quiet, social and solitary -- rather just one.
10. Are there any weaknesses in your education or experience?
Take stock of your weaknesses before the interview. Practice discussing them in a positive light. You''ll find that they are minor when discussed along with all the positive things you have to offer.
