是让MBA考生在两种互有利弊的答案中选择其中的一种。主要考查考生分析能力、语言表达能力以及说服力等。
例如，你认为以工作为取向的领导是好领导还是以人为取向的领导是好领导?此类问题对MBA考生而言，既通俗易懂，又能够引起充分的辩论;对于考官而言，不但在编制题目方面比较方便，而且在评价考生方面也比较有效。但是，此种类型的题目需要注意的是两种备选答案都具有同等程度的利弊，不存在其中一个答案比另一个答案有明显的选择性优势。
2、开放式问题

This is not an invitation to give your life history. The interviewer is looking for clues about your character， qualifications， ambitions， and motivations.

听力完了是两个人自由组合，我是倒数第二组。从6：45等到快9;00。进去后让自由抽题。我抽到一题是辩论：老师说学生成绩不行，口语尤甚。学生说老师不公平，上课常迟到。我做学生，我的搭档唐做老师。辩论了4分钟老师就喊OK了。估计是不耐烦了，因为前边一般3分钟就完了。
25日中午是综合素质面试。四人一组，也有五人一组的。300分以上一个挡、290--300、275--289、265--274共 四挡。我这一组四人，成绩293、295、296、298，工龄4、7、5、6;年龄75、73、72、74，经历各异。第一个人面试了大约12分，我是第二个。三个考官，据说一个清华、另外两个是外请的人事经理，左边考官一脸笑，主要由他提问，你说什么他都说好，让你猜不透他的真实想法，中间一位女性，很干练，只是偶尔提问，好象是三人中的主持者，右边是一位老者，只提了一个面试问题。一进去我就放松了，自我介绍是精心准备过的，刚好2分钟。但我感觉老师好象听的不是很仔细，因为有两个老师对我刚才讲过的又问了几次。其他面试问题还有：
1、你单位对你的看法?
2、你愿意回原单位吗?
3、你希望采取那一种方式学习?
4、你的方向?
5、你对电子商务的看法?
6、你怎么从事电子商务?你有计算机优势，那么你是搞技术还是管理?
7、电子商务发展的瓶颈在那里?
8、如果你喜欢的方向你选不到，你怎么办?
大约问了我15个问题，我回答都很简洁，等叫我出来后我才知道我的面试时间较短。而我小组其他人都超过了10分钟，其中问了很多管理上的东西。接下来是讨论。我们抽到的是就如何保护中小投资者的利益提出看法。我一看题目就后悔。因为前一天我的校友抽到的是这一道，我还以为我不会碰到呢。关键是不太接触股市。我们四人因已经提前沟通过，所以还比较有组织。(按照座次)一位做投资的先生滔滔不绝，讲了很多，我们其他人将他的话进行了概括，第二个提出建立中小投资者行业协会，引发了小小的争论，他又提出了从上市上严把关，我(第三个)提出要大力引进海外华人管理精英，第四人没有发表个人观点。最后由第二人总结。虽然没有提出什么独到的见解，但我能看出面试老师很满意。我们与他们一一告别。我的三个搭档各回各家了。我还要准备晚上的IMBA面试。
下午我无处可去，在清华一个茶馆里呆了老半天。写了一个英语个人简历。但包括WTO; Dveloping West; Internet; Apply for hosting 2008 Olmpics; Unemplyment等 晚上面试时根本没用上。口语面试一男一女两个考官(据说是英语系的学生，北大亦然)。问题如下：
1、谈谈你的特点?
2、简述你一天的工作?
3、举例说明你的管理业绩?
4、你工作的性质?
5、你看英语报纸吗?
6、在你的工作中接触英语的机会多否?
7、你在何处学的英语?(是否说我的发音不标准?)
8、你对管理的认识?
其他记不住了。大约10分钟时间就结束了。因为我是第二个面试，7：20就解放了。我一身轻松。26日在北京逛了半天，就打道回府了。
在北京三天，感受颇多，随意写出一、二，不当之处，请各位指正。
1、清华面试很严，但可能是时间仓促，有些地方很不尽人意。工作人员检查毕业证很不仔细。听力考试前一分钟还有人找不到教室。有人试图作弊。我综合素质面试出来就有人问我考官的名字他问是否姓宋，我说不知道(确实不知道，知道也不会给他说!)
2、消息来源上的不平等。很多外地的考生直到22日才知道英语口语的形式。我天天上网，也是22日才知道的，可许多北京考生在此前一个星期就知道了。
3、考生素质普遍较高，但是很多高分考生很年轻，实践经验不丰富，一眼便能看出来。据说一位316分工作不到三年。单纯以分数段淘汰且高分淘汰率很低使得许多缺乏实践经验的人在本应加强工作锻炼之时却又回到了学校。当然，这比北大所谓前50名免试好多了。
4、小组讨论和两人自由组合说英语是良好的方法。有利于考生间的沟通。考生采取了上网留言、黑板留言、目标询问、举牌等多种方法，并很快形成了数个英语角。使考生在面试阶段便开始锻炼互相沟通、协调的能力。
5、团队精神需要加强。小组讨论最能体现一个人的团队精神。但是有一些小组因为个别学生的急于当Leader和自我表现使整体分数受到了很大影响。
6、关于IMBA面试。IMBA要参加两次英语面试，使人感觉很麻烦。我想也许入学后再分班可能是一个好办法。这能给大多数有资格的考生充分的时间学英语。而现在由两个英语系学生在10分钟内决定你能否上IMBA，好象不很合理。当然，入学后分班可能会在时间上有难度。
7、面试应进一步提高透明度。北大能查出面试分数，清华却不可以。
8、对于准备参加面试的考生，我的建议是：要多准备，自己不熟悉的话题一定少说，我就是因为说了个喜欢电子商务搞的自己有点被动，因为我没有搞过电子商务，靠电视、报纸上的东西又很肤浅，谈不深。当然你最好能在自述时设个小埋伏，这样主动权就有可能在您的手上。
