中文里说一个人胆小会说胆小如鼠，而英文用胆小如“鸡”。
比如：chicken可以做动词：
Jim chickened before the fight started.
译为Jim在干仗之前就害怕了。
Alex was too chicken to come with us to the stripe club.
Alex太胆小了而不愿意跟我们一起去脱衣服俱乐部。
weasel: 有臭鼬的意思，一看就不是什么好词儿。通常指靠不住的人，比较狡诈的人。 weasel第二个词性是动词，译为狡辩推诿。比如：
I just paid the down payment and the landlord is trying to weasel out.
我已经交了定金了但是我的房东在尝试推诿(不愿意租给我房子)。
bear: 熊，也有很难同时让人讨厌的意思。 比如考试等。
The exam was a bear.
这个考试太难了，很讨厌。
turkey: 不成功的剧(电影、话剧等等)
The movie is a real turkey.
这个电影就是个失败。
skunk: 也有臭鼬的意思，同时有讨厌的人， 卑鄙的人的意思。有趣的是大麻也有一股臭鼬的味道，而且越臭等级也会越高。所以买到商品的A货也可以说，It really smells like skunk.
引申义：He is a real skunk. 他是一个卑鄙的人。
big fish：很重要的人
He is a big fish in the company.
他在公司是一个很重要的人。

2. 警察 We got pulled over by a fucking pig.
